I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

  1. in youtube video uploading settings that are predefined from channel default settings (such as disable commets) must not be overwritten!

i have predefined the settings for my channel but firepype (without asking me) overwrites these settings. For example i have disabled comments to my channel, but all new uploaded videos through firepype have the comments enabled.

You are correct, it’s not our intent to post videos that don’t follow your predefined channel settings. We will look into this and fix the issue. Thanks for being an active beta tester and providing this helpful feedback.

    • On YouTube, default monetization for videos is ON. Uploading via FirePype turns it OFF

By default, my monetization settings are set to ON. When uploading via FirePype, the setting is changed to OFF

      • Extremely long files names do not upload to YouTube, but the Informer module is triggered

I tested by uploading a video with an extremely long file name with a string of unbroken characters.

        videoplayback-upn=ebtfuYpLg9M&cp=U0hVTlJTUF9LT0NONV9KTVRFOm.2EF390CC79865E0D63391F0B739BFADC196DFE55.mp4

FirePype said the process was completed by sending an email via Informer, yet the YouTube video was not actually posted.

        • provide a way for users to join multiple videos together in a pype.

allow a way for users to join videos inside a pype. It would also be nice if you could put a number at the end of the file that would denote the order that the videos could be put in. file_1, file_2, file_3, file_4 would all be joined once you got to a designated number of files. so in the loader perhaps have a number say 4, that when all 4 files maching <filename>_# arrive, they are processed.

Over the course of a week somone could be posting their files to the watch folder, know that when they are done…
